Or

The problem

Growing businesses run out of space before they run out of ideas

Space is the one cost that does not scale with revenue — it jumps in lease-sized steps.

  • Overflow stock and spare equipment end up on the shop floor, in the meeting room or in the founder’s flat.
  • A godown means an 11-month lease, a deposit, a watchman and electricity for space that is half empty most months.
  • A relocation or a downsizing leaves you holding desks, chairs and stock with nowhere to put them for eight weeks.

The StorageWale answer

Space that scales up for a season and down after it

Store by the carton or pallet, pay monthly on the volume you actually use, and let us do the receiving and dispatching.

  • Overflow stock, racked and listedCartons and pallets on racks with a location against each tag and quantities that update on every movement.
  • Office assets and equipmentSpare desks, chairs, monitors, tools and machinery parts tagged with your asset or job numbers.
  • Relocation bufferEverything out of the old premises on one day, stored for the gap, delivered to the new address by department or category.
  • Monthly GST billing, no leaseA storage agreement, GST invoices and a deposit of one month. Grow the plan for a season, shrink it after.

Who business storage is for

Traders, retailers and distributors whose stock has outgrown the shop or back room.

Startups

Teams that scale headcount and stock faster than their office lease allows — spare desks, monitors and launch inventory.

Businesses relocating

Shops, clinics and offices moving premises with a gap between handover dates.

Equipment-heavy trades

Contractors, event companies and studios with tools, kits and gear used a few times a month.

Seasonal sellers

Festive goods, winter wear, coolers and ACs stored between seasons.

Slow-moving stock and packaging moved out so the shop floor can breathe; retrieved carton by carton.

Twenty spare workstations and monitors stored between hiring rounds; ten retrieved when the new team joins.

How business storage works

The same seven managed steps for every customer — with the details that matter for this storage type highlighted.

  1. Step 1

    Tell Us

What you want to store, where and for how long

  2. Step 2

    Get Quote

A written quote with every charge on one page

Share a stock or asset list, or photos; business quotes include a storage agreement and GST details.

  3. Step 3

    We Collect

Trained crew, closed vehicle, your slot

Relocations are collected in one day, after hours if needed; overflow can be collected in smaller batches as it builds up.

  4. Step 4

    Prepare & Catalogue

Wrapped by material, photographed and tagged

Tags carry your own reference (SKU, asset or job number) alongside ours, so your team can request by their names.

  5. Step 5

    We Store

Racked, off the floor, checked monthly

  6. Step 6

    Request Retrieval

One item or everything, on WhatsApp

Authorised staff can raise requests; we verify against the contacts in your agreement.

  7. Step 7

    We Return

Delivered to your door within the retrieval window

Deliveries go to a shop, a site, an event venue or the new office — not just the pickup address.

Security

Every StorageWale facility runs on the same standard: racked storage, CCTV, controlled access, fire safety, pest control and monthly checks. What that means for business storage specifically:

Security across the journey

Note: These are the StorageWale operating standards. The equipment and arrangements actually in place at the facility in your city are confirmed in the facility fact sheet that comes with your written quote.

Chain of custody for stock and assets

Signed pickup receipt, tag-level inventory and signed delivery notes — an audit trail for your accountant and your fixed-asset register.

Authorised-contact retrieval

Only people named in your storage agreement can request stock or equipment; requests are verified by phone.

Insurance

Insurance options and cover limits are stated on your written quote.

Pricing

Business storage is priced per cubic foot with volume discounts above 300 cu ft, so the bill grows and shrinks with what you store. Retrieval charges are per trip, not per item.

  • Monthly storage on packed volume, GST extra — add or remove volume any month
  • Pickup and receiving charged per trip; supplier deliveries can come straight to us
  • Longer commitments (6/12 months) get a lower monthly rate

Business Storage questions

+Can my staff visit and pick stock themselves?

Managed storage means we do the handling. You request what you need and we pick, pack and deliver — which keeps the facility secure and your inventory accurate.

+Do you handle goods requiring special conditions?

We store ambient, dry goods. We do not store perishables, hazardous chemicals, flammables or illegal goods. Ask us about temperature-sensitive items.

+What documents do you need?

GST registration, a stock list with declared value and an ID for the authorised contact. We sign a simple storage agreement.

+How is this different from inventory storage?

Business storage suits equipment, kits, displays and seasonal stock that move a few times a year. Inventory storage is built for stock that turns over continuously, with SKU-level counts and scheduled dispatches.

+Can deliveries go to a customer instead of my shop?

Yes, within the city, on a per-trip charge. We hand over against a signed delivery note.

+Can you handle a full business relocation?

Yes. We collect everything from the old premises in one day, store it for the gap and deliver to the new address by department or category. For a large office move, see Office Storage.
