StorageWale is managed self-storage. A traditional unit is an empty room you fill and visit yourself; with us the collection, preparation, storage and retrieval are done for you. You get what self-storage is for — your things kept safely and returned when needed — without the truck, the lifting or the padlock.
+Is managed self-storage more expensive than a unit?
Usually not for households and small businesses. A unit charges for floor area you cannot fully stack into; StorageWale charges for packed volume from ₹999 per month. The pickup fee replaces the tempo, labour and packing material you would buy anyway.
+Can I visit my items?
You do not need to — request any item and we deliver it. If you want to verify your goods in person, a visit can be arranged by appointment at the facility in your city.
+Do you offer walk-in self-storage units?
Not at launch. If you specifically need walk-in access several times a week, a traditional unit may suit you better; for everything else, managed self-storage is simpler and usually cheaper.
+How quickly do I get things back compared with a unit?
A unit is instant if you can drive there with a vehicle. We deliver within the 48 hours retrieval window, same-day where slots allow, to any address in the city.
What managed self storage does not include
Stated plainly so the quote and the service match.
- No self-access unit: you do not visit the facility or hold a key. Items come back to you by scheduled delivery, which is what makes the service managed.
- Retrievals follow the standard window on your quote; same-day access is not a standard service.
- Perishables, plants, liquids, hazardous items and anything on the prohibited list are not accepted.
- Insurance cover and its limits are those stated on your written quote; nothing beyond it is implied.
